SEOUL, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Hankook Tire Co., South Korea's largest tire maker, will spend $600 million to build a tire factory in Hungary.
The company, which has factories in China, had been considering the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland as nations for the new plant, but chose Hungary, JoongAng Ilbo reported Tuesday.

Hankook said Hungary was attractive because of lower taxes and cheaper labor costs.
