GUANGZHOU, China, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- Japan's Nippon Oil Corp. will spend about $300 million to build a lubricating oil plant in China.
The oil refiner and petrochemical maker plans to build a plant in Guangzhou, with commercial production beginning in September 2006, China's state-run media group Xinhua said Wednesday.

Also, Nippon plans to hike capacity at a plant in northern China's Tianjin by this December.
The Tianjin plant is owned by a joint venture company set up by Nippon and China Petroleum & Chemical Corp.
