WASHINGTON, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- U.S. mortgage applications fell last week 1.1 percent, an industry group said Wednesday.
The Mortgage Bankers Association said its index of applications for the week ending Sept. 30 declined to 713.5 from the previous week's 721.2.
That is down 1.8 percent compared with the same week one year earlier.
