Companies team for technologies

BRUSSELS, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- The European Commission Wednesday approved a restructuring of Irish and Belgian food companies so they can operate Ireland's Corman Miloko Ltd.
The commission OK'd a proposal by Ireland's Glanbia Consumer Foods Ltd. and Belgium's Corman SA for joint control of Corman.
Corman produces and sells dairy product, while Glanbia produces and sells branded chilled dairy and beverage products in Ireland.
Corman Miloko, which is currently inactive, will produce and sell anhydrous milk fat, for use by industrial processors in products such as ice cream, chocolate and cheese and dairy spreads.
