SOCHI, Russia, July 18 (UPI) -- Russia's president used a meeting Monday with the Turkish head of state to urge completion of an ambitious gas pipeline.
"We should bring the Blue Stream (pipeline) to full capacity," President Vladimir Putin said after talks with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. That pipeline passes under the Black Sea to link Dzhugba and Samsun.

Putin also said more such projects could be pursued between Russia and Turkey.
He said his country will build new gas and oil pipelines in Turkey, Itar-Tass said.
"We do not rule out the construction of a new gas pipeline, new oil pipelines in various directions" in Turkey," Putin said.
