Consumer Corner: Foreclosure settlement no magic bullet for economy

LONDON, March 31 (UPI) -- Members of Britain's Parliament are expressing alarm at the growing number of automated teller machines charging user fees.
A Treasury Select Committee report said two large banks sold their ATM operations to fee-charging firms and more are likely to switch, the Daily Mirror said Thursday.
"Good access to non-charging machines should be available to all," said John McFall, the panel's chairman.
The committee also urged the nation's postal authorities to reconsider their decision to make most of their ATMs fee-based.
