Alarm clock a real eye opener

CHICAGO, March 20 (UPI) -- Among the plethora of new offerings at the International Housewares Show Sunday in Chicago was the Wake and Shake alarm clock.

This dandy little device from ClearSounds Communications Inc. for the inveterate oversleeper is made up of a vibrating pad that shakes one awake. If that doesn't do the trick, an audible alarm also sounds and a bright strobe pulsates.
