TOKYO, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Japanese game maker Nintendo presented baseball player Ichiro Suzuki with 5,000 of the company's shares Thursday.
Suzuki, who is a right fielder for the Seattle Mariners, is one of Japan's most famous baseball players. Nintendo's former president, Hiroshi Yamauchi, gave him the stocks worth $564,000 from his personal holdings in the company.
