NEW YORK, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- New York-based drug maker Pfizer said Thursday it will donate $10 million to help earthquake and tsunami victims across Asia and Africa.

The pharmaceutical group said the money will help local and international relief organizations, including the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, International Rescue Committee, Catholic Relief Services, CARE, UNICEF and Save the Children.

The company said it will also provide $25 million in medicines for treating the victims.
