Vertrue buys My Choice Medical Holdings

STAMFORD, Conn., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Vertrue Inc. of Stamford, Conn., Thursday acquired My Choice Medical Holdings also of Stamford.

Under terms of the deal Vertrue will acquire My Choice, a privately held advertising and practice management company serving cosmetic surgeons throughout the United States, for $33 million in cash at closing.

In addition, contingent payments may be paid if certain performance targets, including increasing levels of revenue and earnings, are achieved over the next three calendar years.

The contingent payments will not exceed $56 million.

Vertrue offers membership and loyalty programs in the healthcare industry.
