Fitch gives Computer Associates BBB minus

NEW YORK, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Fitch Ratings York Monday initiated coverage of Computer Associates of Islandia, N.Y., assigning a BBB minus to the company's senior unsecured debt.

Fitch said the company's commercial paper program is rated F3 and the rating outlook is stable.

Fitch's action affects approximately $3.1 billion of Computer Associates debt securities.

Computer Associates is a software company.
