
NEW YORK, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Real Estate Media in New York said Friday it acquired the Real Estate Conference Group in Los Angeles.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Through its RealShare conference series, Real Estate Media currently produces 14 regional and national events, targeted to commercial real estate professionals, in locations throughout the United States.
Jonathan A. Schein, president and chief executive officer of Real Estate Media, said, "This acquisition fits well with our overall strategy to grow our brand nationally. It cements our position as the authoritative source of commercial real estate news and information for the industry, enhances our strong existing presence in California and expands our branded conference and event roster."
Real Estate Conference Group is a privately held company and its semi-annual meetings are widely regarded as the premier professional events in California, attracting regional and national leaders from all sectors of the industry. The company has produced more than 40 conferences, with almost 40,000 attendees.
