WASHINGTON, April 26 (UPI) -- Freddie Mac on Friday reported that long-term mortgage rates fell for the fourth consecutive week as the sluggish economy lowered any threat of inflation and thereby lowering mortgage rates. Freddie Mac said the average rate on the 30-year loan to homebuyers fell to 6.88 percent from 6.94 percent last week.
