Michigan 112 Indiana 64

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 22 -- Jerod Ward scored a career-high 24 points as 21st-ranked Michigan handed Indiana its worst loss in almost four years Sunday with a 112-64 demolition of the Hoosiers in a Big Ten Conference game. Louis Bullock finished with 26 points and Robert Traylor added 22 for the Wolverines (19-8, 9-5 Big Ten).

Last season, Michigan blew an 18- point halftime lead and lost in overtime at home to Indiana, starting a five-game losing streak that left the Wolverines on the outside looking in at the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1991. The thrashing also avenged an 80-62 loss to the Hoosiers at Bloomington Hall on Jan. 6. Reserves Larry Richardson scored 13 points and Rob Turner added 12 for Indiana (18-8, 9-5), which suffered its worst loss since a 106-56 humbling at Minnesota on Feb. 27, 1994. Despite the loss, Indiana still leads the all-time series 83-49.
