Dunleavy named Bucks vice president

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks announced Friday that Mike Dunleavy will serve the club as vice president of basketball operations in addition to his role as head coach.

Dunleavy, who played for Milwaukee from 1983 to 1991, was named the Bucks' head coach on May 14 and has handled basketball operations responsibilities since that time.

The coached the Los Angeles Lakers to a second-place finish in the Pacific Division with a 58-24 record in 1990-91.

The club also announced that Director of Player Personnel Lee Rose has been promoted to vice president of player personnel effective immediately. He will continue to assist Dunleavy in the area of basketball administration.
