LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Brian Faison, Illinois State assistant athletic director for promotions, Wednesday was named to a similar post at the University of Louisville.
The 33-year-old St. Louis native has been assistant AD at Illinois State for five years and increased by five-fold its annual development fund contributions.

Before joining the Illinois State staff, he served as an assistant in public relations and promotions at the University of Missouri.
At Louisville, Faison will serve as executive director of the newly formed Cardinal Athletic Fund.
