AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Tommy Aaron, winner of the Masters Championship in 1973, Wednesday won the Par-3 contest, a traditional 9-hole contest staged the day before the Masters.

Aaron shot a 5-under-par 22 to edge West German Bernhard Langer and Ralph Landrum by one shot. For winning, Aaron receives $3,000 and a crystal bowl.
