EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- John Killilea, assistant coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, Saturday was named to a similar post with the New Jersey Nets.

Killilea, a former assistant with the Boston Celtics, spent the last six years with the Bucks as Coach Don Nelson's chief aid and assistant director of personnel.

He is regarded as one of the most defense-minded coaches in the league.
