ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. -- Gould Inc. has completed its acquisition of Bryans Southern Instruments Ltd., of Great Britain, which will become part of Gould's instruments division.

Bryans manufactures high-performance analog X-Y recorders and microprocessor-based graphics plotters.

'This acquisition will enlarge our existing line of X-Y recorders,' Alan Mansfield, Gould Instruments Division president, said. 'The Bryans line of graphics plotters will enable us to expand our hard copy production capabilities in the digital data processing field.'

Gould develops and manufactures electronics and electrical products.
