Athletes and tourists around town in the run-up to the Rio Olympics (30 images)

With the opening ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games just a week away, Brazil has stepped up security at the airport, the athlete's village, and other sporting venues, following a rash of bad press surrounding the safety of the city. Notwithstanding, locals continue to flock to the beaches and athletes prepare for the games!
